Remembering Our Priest, Our Friend

Our dear friend Father David Knight was ordained to the priesthood 63 years ago - on September 2, 1961 in Lyon, France.

Let us think of him on the anniversary of his ordination with gratitude for the gift of his priesthood, his friendship, and the pure joy he added to our lives. Let us honor him by showing love and concern for everyone we encounter each day. Let us especially reach out to the poor, the disabled, the lonely, those who seem "different" than us. Let us participate fully in the celebration of the Holy Mass! Let us live out our Baptismal promises as Christians, Disciples, Prophets, Priests, and Stewards of the Kingship of Christ! Let us offer ourselves to Jesus each day, that Jesus may live With Us, In Us, and Through us each day!
